novoFlight Aviator
An app that brings a pilot's routine paperwork into one place: scheduling pilots, aircraft and instructors, logging flights, tracking engine oil use, requesting services from FBOs, and reminders before oil changes, annual inspections and registration renewals come due.

The product
Private pilots, flight schools and aircraft owners juggle bookings, logbooks and maintenance deadlines across paper, spreadsheets and phone calls. Aviator puts those tasks in one app, so the next booking, the next oil change and the next inspection are all on the same screen, with notifications before anything lapses.
My part
- Software developer at ExcelliMatrix from January 2023 to September 2024, one of the main developers of Aviator through its first App Store release in April 2024.
- Built features in C# and XAML on .NET MAUI, one code base for iPhone and iPad.
- Worked with Azure Cosmos DB on scheduling, flight logs and maintenance records.
- Improved the UI and UX, fixed bugs, and developed and tested API integrations.
What it shows
Shipping and maintaining a commercial mobile app with a distributed team: release cycles through App Store review, data that has to stay right for safety-related reminders, and a product that keeps improving after launch. The latest release focused on sign-in reliability and steadier background refresh.
